I am a business leader and product management veteran with 20 years of experience leading teams and flagship products for tech. At Apple, I lead Product Management for iPad and Mac in SEA. We created new reasons for people to love the iPad and architect a generational transition to Apple’s M1 chip for the Mac. At Microsoft, I manage the sales and marketing for the Xbox business and received the Protégé award for my success. In 2023, I transited to the education segment. Execute on programs to sustains sales as we switch to a new version. Key Achievements: • Crafted the business model of introducing Surface RT to Singapore. Executed a successful launch event generating demand and inspiring partner confidence despite a lackluster global sales performance of Surface. • Activating the Windows eco-system lead by Windows 8 launch to revive the PC market. Spearheaded cross collaboration with key partners in the Windows eco-system including Intel, Samsung, Toshiba, Lenovo and Dell to showcase the breath of products and innovations during Windows 8 launch. Key Achievements: 1) Spearhead the transition to volume products to successfully penetrate the mass market. In a bid to lower the cost and achieve higher volume, Fujitsu commissioned ODM partners to build new laptop lines. I work closely with ODM partners to define product requirements and roadmap that can penetrate the retail volume market. Accountable for revenue and marketing programs to create demand and drive sell through. Key Achievements: • Sales success with Windows 7 in retail. Singapore launch Event was featured on the front page of Straits Times. The PR stunt event in Challenger Funan created a queue of almost 300 customers. The first sell in to retailers was already more than the total amount sold for Windows Vista in its entire lifespan.

Main responsibilities: • Product management including pricing and product roadmap of Fujitsu’s Ultra mobile PC in the APEJ market to meet pre-defined sales targets; • Development of a new embedded 3G business for Fujitsu in the APEJ region specifically spearhead partnerships with telcos to jointly launch embedded 3G PCs. Key Achievements: • I created a niche market for Fujitsu’s FIRST UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC) and my Product was the best seller worldwide for Fujitsu. • Developed a new area of business for Fujitsu. I spearheaded the joint launched of Fujitsu's first 3G laptop with key regional telecommunication providers. We gain competitive advantage by offering a holistic solution and greatly expanding our sales channel.

GSM System Engineer | Panasonic Singapore Labs

Main responsibilities: • System testing of new Panasonic mobile terminals with key global telecommunication providers (e.g. Vodafone Italy, CMCC China and Singtel). • APAC Requirements engineering and technology evaluation. Advice Global product planning on the specifications for future Panasonic wireless products. Key Achievements: • Analysis of APAC Telco service roadmap and user requirements for Global Product planning. Convince senior management to change key specification for 2005 products. Following this success, I have been tasked to perform similar analysis on emerging markets like India and Bangladesh. • Seconded to new R&D lab in Dalian China for knowledge transfer. Dalian Panasonic Lab is now an independent test lab specializing on mobile terminal system test. • Seconded to Vodafone Italy for system testing. I resolve all software issues for Panasonic's Mobile terminal X60. Subsequently, X60 was Panasonic’s top selling model to Vodafone.
