As a forward-looking and entrepreneurial Board Director | Non-Executive Director with a 20+ year executive career, I bring a proven track record of building and scaling agile, high-growth Tech start-ups, from initial concept ideation, strategy development, and capital raising, through go-to-market launch and geo-expansion. I launched my leadership career with Optus as one of the first ten employees in Victoria, co-launching the first Optus Concept store in 1992 (now Optus World) and enjoying 10+ years of career progression as part of the executive team that led transformational improvement and achieved record growth in market share for Optus Cable & Wireless. This dynamic early experience set the tone for the rest of my career, with growth and transformation being core themes through all my roles. After 5 years with FOXTEL, leading a program of transformational change and improvement to take the business to profitability, I flexed my entrepreneurial muscles and founded an innovative, market-disrupting start-up in the complex and heavily regulated aviation industry. I scaled the business rapidly, achieving year-on-year growth and forging strategic joint venture (JV) partnerships. In 2011, I became a Board Director for Lime Global – an early-stage tech start-up – and a new passion was ignited. I have since built a portfolio career as NED/Board Director for diverse start-ups, with a common ambition for exponential growth. I have concurrently worked as CEO for Bill Identity – a publicly listed global Tech business – leading performance turnaround that delivered more than 70% year-on-year growth for 3 consecutive years; and as Chief Growth Officer for Online Education Services, securing their largest-ever deal in the UK and overseeing a portfolio of strategic investments, joint ventures, and M&A initiatives.
