Extensive relationship management on a global basis. • This was a highly complex review, with significant executive management interest, and resulted in a substantial number of audit findings and recommendations. Presented an overview of the work completed to approximately 20 members of the Audit Services team. Global Fund Services (GFS) • Senior Auditor responsible for a number of GFS audits including Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting and Private Equity Administration. These in depth reviews required extensive planning to ensure effective execution and the timely delivery of reports to senior management. Responsible for the management of a global audit team. Bank of Ireland Acquisition – Northern Trust Securities Services Ireland • Responsible for conducting the preliminary review of the newly acquired Fund Administration business from Bank of Ireland. This review provided senior management with the necessary post acquisition due diligence and an assessment of the business’ current and future scalability. Service Organisation Controls • Responsible for the planning, allocation of fieldwork, execution of the controls testing and supervision of audit teams across EMEA. Customer Data • Responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the audit, including the coaching and development of a team of five junior audit staff. Managed and facilitated formal communications with the business, and acted as the first point of contact for any queries. Performed a detailed review of the internal controls within the business unit to identify controls weaknesses and worked with the business to improve remediate the findings. Complaints • Led a complaints handling review to ensure adherence to UK regulations and internal service requirements. This included a review of internal policy documents, comprehensive file testing and the monitoring of regulatory reporting.
