Role Overview

  • Client Consultation

  • Design Development

    Create detailed kitchen and bath designs using CAD software, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and adherence to building codes. Develop mood boards and materials lists.

  • Project Management

    Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and execution of work, while monitoring project budgets and schedules to prevent overruns.

  • Material Selection

    Guide clients through the selection of materials, fixtures, and finishes. Offer expert advice on the suitability, durability, and aesthetic harmony of each element in their space.

  • 3D Rendering Presentation

    Produce high-quality 3D renderings and layouts to present design concepts to clients. Refine designs based on client feedback to achieve their vision with a high degree of precision.

  • Compliance Assurance

    Ensure all designs comply with local building regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. Stay informed about industry trends and innovative materials to enhance compliance.

  • Budget Management

    Develop accurate project budgets and cost estimates. Monitor expenditures throughout project phases to maintain financial control and provide cost-saving recommendations.

  • Collaboration with Teams

    Work closely with architects, builders, and craftspeople to integrate designs with structural realities. Communicate design vision effectively to ensure seamless execution.

Typical Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in kitchen and bath design.
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
