Roles & Responsibilities

    Establish and maintain relationships with freight companies, negotiate rates, and review service agreements to optimize shipping costs and service quality.

  • Shipment Documentation

    Prepare and ensure accuracy of shipping documentation such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices, complying with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Tracking and Reporting

    Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to clients and management. Analyze delivery data to identify trends and initiate improvements in shipping processes.

  • Problem Resolution

    Address and resolve any issues related to shipments, such as delays or damages, by coordinating with all parties involved and implementing contingency plans swiftly.

  • Customer Service

    Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding shipment status and logistics, providing prompt and accurate information to maintain high customer satisfaction.

  • Cost Analysis

    Assist in analyzing shipping costs and explore cost-saving opportunities by evaluating current routes, shipping methods, and rate structures for improved profitability.

Typical Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or freight coordination.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and freight regulations.
