Food Manufacturing Technician

Roles & Responsibilities

• Production Process Optimization

  Monitor and adjust manufacturing processes to ensure optimal efficiency and quality. Identify inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and implement process changes as needed.

• Quality Control and Assurance

  Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure products meet industry standards and compliance regulations, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.

• Equipment Maintenance

  Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment to prevent downtime. Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and replacements when necessary.

• Safety Compliance Management

  Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct safety audits and train staff on safety procedures and best practices.

• Inventory Management

  Monitor raw material levels, ensuring adequate supply for production needs. Coordinate with procurement teams to order supplies and manage inventory records efficiently.

• Data Collection and Reporting

  Accurately collect and analyze production data to track performance indicators. Prepare detailed reports on production outputs, downtime incidents, and quality issues.

Typical Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing or related field

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices

• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and processes
