Roles & Responsibilities

• Forecasting Demand

  Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, statistical models, and business insights. Collaborate with sales and marketing to align forecasts with company objectives.

• Inventory Management

  Manage inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts. Analyze demand patterns and implement inventory replenishment strategies to ensure availability and cost efficiency.

• Supply Chain Coordination

  Work with suppliers and logistics teams to align supply chain activities with demand forecasts. Ensure timely product availability by coordinating production and distribution schedules.

• Demand Analysis

  Analyze consumer demand trends and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities. Provide insights to enhance sales strategies and product development.

• Process Improvement

  Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy and operational efficiency. Use demand planning tools and technology to streamline planning activities.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align forecasting processes with company goals. Facilitate communication and information flow across departments.

• Performance Reporting

  Prepare and present regular reports on demand planning performance metrics. Analyze deviations between forecasts and actual outcomes and suggest corrective actions.

Typical Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and forecasting software

• Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments
