Roles & Responsibilities

• Data Policy Development

  Create, maintain, and update data governance policies and standards, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and organizational goals to enhance data usability and quality.

• Stakeholder Collaboration

  Engage with cross-functional teams to identify data governance needs, driving adoption through education and support to ensure consistent implementation across the organization.

• Data Quality Assurance

  Design and implement processes to monitor data quality metrics, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data assets, with regular reporting and issue resolution strategies.

• Data Compliance Management

  Ensure adherence to data-related laws, regulations, and standards such as GDPR or CCPA by conducting regular audits and recommending timely improvements to prevent risks.

• Metadata Management

  Oversee metadata strategy development and implementation to improve data discoverability and integration, supporting efficient data-driven decision-making processes.

• Data Governance Tools Implementation

  Evaluate, select, and deploy data governance tools and technologies to streamline data management processes, enhancing efficiency and maintaining best practices within the data lifecycle.

• Training and Development

Typical Required Skills and Qualifications
