  • Threat Detection and Analysis

    Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify potential vulnerabilities in systems and applications, ensuring all identified gaps are reported and mitigated promptly.

    Lead incident response efforts by investigating security breaches, coordinating with IT teams to contain threats, and implementing recovery protocols to restore services swiftly and securely.

  • Security Policy Development

    Assist in developing and enforcing organizational security protocols and policies to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality, aligning these policies with compliance requirements.

  • User Training and Awareness

    Design and deliver cybersecurity training programs to educate staff on security protocols, best practices, and threat awareness, ensuring a culture of security within the organization.

  • Security Tool Management

    Maintain and update security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools, ensuring all components are fully operational and up-to-date.

  • Risk Management

    Analyze potential security risks, evaluate their potential impact, and recommend corrective measures to the management to fortify the organization's defense mechanism.

Typical Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security
  • Proficient in security tools and software such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and security architectures
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are preferred
