  • Patient Assessment

  • Patient Education

    Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular conditions, lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and post-discharge care to promote recovery and prevent recurrence of cardiac events.

  • Emergency Response

    Respond swiftly to cardiac emergencies, performing CPR, defibrillation, and using advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) techniques as needed, ensuring preparedness in all critical situations.

  • Care Coordination

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including cardiologists and therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans, ensure seamless discharge planning, and facilitate access to additional services.

  • Documentation and Reporting

    Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, interventions, and outcomes. Generate reports and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to support continuity of care.

Typical Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a current nursing license.
  • 2+ years of experience in cardiovascular nursing or related field.
  • Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (CCRN) preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
