Roles & Responsibilities

  • Tour Planning and Coordination

    Design and coordinate comprehensive tour itineraries ensuring logistics like transport, entry fees, and timing are efficiently managed to maximize customer satisfaction and tour quality.

  • Customer Engagement

    Engage with tour participants through effective communication, providing informative and entertaining commentary that enhances the experience and stimulates interest in the destinations.

  • Safety and Compliance

    Ensure all tours comply with local safety regulations and guidelines. Conduct regular safety briefings and risk assessments to guarantee a safe environment for all participants.

  • Cultural and Historical Expertise

    Possess strong knowledge of the cultural and historical significance of tour locations, answering questions and offering insightful narratives that enrich the customers' understanding and experience.

  • Problem-solving and Adaptability

    Resolve any unexpected issues during tours, such as delays or participant complaints, by adapting plans swiftly while maintaining a positive atmosphere and customer satisfaction.

  • Feedback Collection and Analysis

    Collect feedback from tour participants to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement changes to enhance future tours and correspondingly improve customer satisfaction.

  • Sales and Promotion

    Promote various tour packages to attract potential customers through different channels, including social media and partnerships, to increase bookings and company profitability.

Typical Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in tourism or hospitality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with local history and attractions
  • Ability to engage diverse audiences
  • First aid certification is a plus
